** NJS4E - THE FIRST OFFICIAL PARTY - AUGUST 13th, 2005 **
Thanks to NJS4E member Jodecidal the "Initiator," London, England will be the site of the first official NJS4E party on the face of the planet. There will be an all-star guestlist including Stevieswing (the host of NJS4E Radio), Mello75, Ricchh, Swingbeatlover, Zakir, Marko, UltimateDivax, Renj, Jay Mac, Cross_colors, and more!
For anyone reading this who will be anywhere near London on the night of August 13th, here are the details:

The music world lost two greats on 7/1: Renaldo "Obie" Benson of the Four Tops (pictured below) and the legendary, Luther Vandross. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families and friends of these two phenomenal individuals who contributed so much to the music world. We thank them for sharing their gift of song while they were here with us in life, and we will remember them fondly as their music lives on. And their music will indeed live on.

On Sunday 6/26 between 8pm and 10pm EST, Atlanta will be treated to a special "New Jack Swing" edition of the Lost In The 80s radio show hosted by radio personality Derrick Jonzun. During this show, Derrick sits down with NJS4E's founder, Andrew Knyte for a brief Q&A on New Jack Swing!
If you don't live in Atlanta or can't listen live that night, there may be nothing to worry about. NJS4E is working on obtaining a copy of the show for rebroadcast on this site. Stay tuned!
