‘A wonderfully cute presence, Tyler had one major hit during the New Jack Era with “Girls Nite Out.” Her 1990 debut album was borderline dance-pop fare at best, but her song “Beyond A Shadow Of A Doubt” was shimmeringly beautiful, and probably should have been a hit. In 1991, she released a follow-up, which performed modestly. However she made notable appearances as a Cinderella type during the second season of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, and as Tevin Campbell’s girlfriend in the video for “Goodbye.”

Tyler Collins continues to work in the film and music industry, lending her voice to projects by Britney Spears and the Rollins Band as recently as 2001.
